5.2 Cleaning the water intake fi lter
(only some models)
The water intake fi lter (ref. B fi g. 5-01) located at the outlet of the water supply
tap needs to be cleaned periodically. After having closed the water supply tap,
unscrew the end (ref. A fi g. 5-01) of the water intake hose (use a pair of pliers,
if necessary), remove the fi lter (ref. B fi g. 5-01) and clean it delicately under
running water (at room temperature). Reassemble the fi lter (ref. B fi g. 5-01) in
its seat and carefully screw the water intake hose back into position (ref. A fi g.
5-01) (use a pair of pliers, if necessary).
5.3 Cleaning the spray arms
The spray arms can be easily removed for periodic cleaning of the nozzles,
to prevent possible clogging. Wash them under running water (at room tem-
perature) and carefully replace them in their seats, checking that their rotary
movement is in no way impeded; if this is not the case, make sure they have
been mounted properly.
Removing the spray arms
To remove the upper spray arm (ref. A fi g. 5-02), unscrew the locking ring
(ref. B fi g. 5-02) by turning it clockwise. After cleaning, remount the spray
arm in its seat and tighten the locking ring by turning it anti-clockwise.
To remove the lower spray arm (moving version), simply grip it (see fi g.
5-03) and lift it up. Then release the spray arm (ref. A fi g. 5-04) from the duct
(ref. B fi g. 5-04). After cleaning the spray arm, reattach it to the duct and put
the assembly back in its housing.
After remounting the spray arm, make sure it turns freely (spin it with
your hand a few times) and that the duct can move without obstruc-
tions.
